A community based approach to strengthening economic supports and reducing risk factors that contribute to Adverse Childhood Experiences or ACES. We provide educational opportunities to reduce financial stress and encourage those with earned income to learn about and claim beneficial tax credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Meet Doron Pratt
Outreach Coordinator with the Greater Flint Health Coalition’s CASES Project. Mr. Pratt obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration at the University of Michigan and specializes in higher education and leadership impact. He is responsible for coordinating and scheduling community-wide outreach, engagement, and education activities to advance project goals. Mr. Pratt is a Flint native committed to leadership development, public policy, and community relational building.
Meet Robert Reid
Project manager with Greater Flint Health Coalition’s CASES Project. Alumni of the University of Michigan and working in the financial services industry since 2005. Mr. Reid specializes in risk management and generational wealth creation. He collaborates with professionals from various backgrounds and hosts annual virtual workshops educating residents on financial literacy, the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), offers free tax preparation through the United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), and has hosted over 28 free educational workshops for Genesee County residents.
